ANF and QNF to deliver Unity
The Queensland Newsagents Federation and the Australian Newsagents’ Federation have today negotiated an interim agreement to deliver a united National organisation representing newsagents.
The QNF has agreed to enter into an agreement to operate under an MOU similar to that of VANA.
Jointly QNF and ANF agree that unity is the best way forward for the industry.
ANF CEO Alf Maccioni and QNF CEO Ann Nugent said that it was obvious that newsagents needed and deserved to have all their representative bodies working together to enhance and strengthen the newsagency channel.
This arrangement paves the way for industry unity and will enable newsagents to benefit from a strong and single voice on national issues.
QNF members in Queensland will still have the benefits of their strong state association delivering member services and support with representation by the ANF on national issues.
ANF members in Queensland will similarly benefit from the support of both bodies
